The Borough of Avalon is seeking a part time Department of Public Works Maintenance Worker. Part time maintenance workers perform a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled work associated with the maintenance, repair, and construction of DPW assets. A complete job description can be found here. The part time maintenance worker will be expected to work up to 32 hours per week. All those interested should submit an application to Manager, Avalon Borough, 640 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202. Candidates may also apply in person at Avalon Borough Hall during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm). Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The Borough of Avalon, the Borough of Bellevue, the Borough of Ben Avon, and the Borough of Ben Avon Heights are soliciting propsoals from qualified planning consultants to provide planning services for the development of a Multi-Municipal Implementable Comprehensive Plan. We also encourage any resident who is interested in planning the celebratory event to contact us!
