The Avalon Borough Administration Office will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Presidents' Day. The office will re-open at 8:00 am on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The Civil Service Commission of the Borough of Avalon will hold a public meeting on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Borough Council Chambers, 640 California Avenue, Avalon, PA 15202. The purpose of the meeting is to decide the appeal of Chief of Police Thomas Kokoski from Borough Council Resolution No. 1340 and to adopt any written Findings and conduct any general pending business.
