Avalon-Bellevue Fall Dumpster Day is Saturday, October 17, 2026! 8:00 am - 12:00 pm OR UNTIL THE DUMPSTERS ARE FULL We encourage residents to come early. We make every effort to accommodate all those who wish to participate, but at recent events, our dumpsters have been filled by 11:00 a.m. ****** The Council of the Borough of Avalon has authorized the sale of a 1995 International Fire Truck. The Borough of Avalon will accept sealed bids until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026. All bids should be mailed or submitted in person, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to the Avalon Borough Administration Office, 640 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranties, express or implied.
