Avalon Police Department - Part Time Police Officer Applications are being accepted for a part-time position of Police Officer in the Borough of Avalon. Applicants MUST apply in person at the Avalon Police Department, 640 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202. All applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: U.S. citizen, High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate, 21 years of age, PA Act 120 certified, valid PA Driver's License, good medical condition, and valid CPR/AED first aid certification. Applicants must pass a criminal background check, credit background check, and qualify with a department approved firearm. Prior police experience preferred, but not required.
